A Research on Translation of the Biblical Text in American Presidential Inaugural Addresses

美国是一个宗教色彩非常浓厚的国家,基督教在其政治、社会、文化及国民心理中起着关键的主导作用。《圣经》作为基督教经典,对美国政治文化影响深远。美国历届总统就职演说中包含很多《圣经》内容和对《圣经》文体形式的借鉴,其本身就是为演说服务的。文章从文本类型理论出发,简要分析美国总统就职演说词中《圣经》文本的文本类型和主要语言功能,探讨美国总统就职演说中《圣经》文本的翻译原则。

This paper aims at an exploration of the enlightenment text typology theory has on the translation of the biblical text in American presidential inaugural addresses.The author represents the core idea of the text typology theory,analyses the text type of the American presidential inaugural addresses and the main function of the biblical texts,and tries to explore a better way of translating the biblical texts in American presidential inaugural addresses.
