摘要
《天边外》是美国剧作家尤金·奥尼尔的一部力作。本文运用精神生态理论,从剧中人物的精神危机,精神的真空化,行为的无能化和存在的疏离化四个方面来分析他们在理想与现实之间徘徊,发生冲突,并最终造成悲剧命运的原因。进而表达了对现代人的警示作用。凸显了剧作家对人类精神生态的终极关怀。
Beyond the Horizon is an important play by Eugene O＇Neill. From a spiritual ecological perspective, the present paper probes into the cause of the tragedies between dream and reality by analyzing spiritual crisis, spiritual vacuum, behavior incompetence and existence alienation of the characters. Their tragedies are an alarm to modern men. It highlights the ultimate care of the playwright to human spiritual ecology.
