摘要
大学双语教学是适应专业教育教学目标发展的客观要求,它也对教材建设提出了新的要求。本文在分析专业教学目标的基础上认为:大学双语教学的目的主要包括专业知识学习、专业词汇掌握与直接学习能力提高、巩固普通外语能力并提高专业交流能力等三方面;双语教材应该满足专业知识体系的完备性与新颖性、兼顾国内教育习惯与学生外语能力差异、知识量大小适度与重要性分级、经济性与订购方便性等具体要求。在总结分析我国目前出版并应用的不同类型双语教材具有的不同特征基础上,本文对适用于中文母语条件下的双语教材建设提出了进一步调查研究、探索新形式教材和进行系列双语教材等建议。
Bilingual teaching, which is suited to satisfy new requirements of higher education, has raised new demands with the construction of textbooks. Based on the analysis of teaching targets, three kinds of aims that are involved in the bilingual teaching were discussed in this paper. Subsequently, the construction of a bilingual textbook should take into account various factors, such as the integrity of con- tent, the difference of teaching habits between Chinese and English environments, the divergence of students' English, and so on. Furthermore, bilingual textbooks that have been published in China were grouped in five categories in this paper. Each category of bilingual textbook possesses various characteris- tics. On the basis of analysis of bilingual textbooks that have been used in teaching, suggestions and one new kind of textbook were proposed.
