城镇居民收支稳步增长 生活水平大幅提高

Urban Residents' Income Steadily Growing,and Living Standard Substantially Increased

中共十六大以来,政府始终把提高人民生活水平作为根本出发点和落脚点,在复杂的国内外经济环境条件下,持续保持了经济平稳较快发展,全国经济总量从世界第六位跃居到第二位,人均国民收入步入了中等收入国家行列,城镇居民收入持续快速增长,整体生活水平大幅提高。

Since 16th Party Congress, China central government has been stressing improving people＇s living standard as fundamental starting and anchor point. Under the condition of complex foreign and native economic environment, China still sees a stable and rapid economic growth with GDP leaping from the sixth place to the second and per capita income reaching medium-income countries ranks. Chinese urban residents＇ income grow steadily and rapidly and living standards increase sub-stantially.
