James Legge′s English translation of Tao Te Ching is rich in rhyme and the rhyme schemes employed in it include monorhyme,couplet,alternate rhyme,enclosed rhyme,etc.The style of James Legge′s English translation of Tao Te Ching is mainly from the above rhyme schemes and Legge′s translation is beautiful in sense,sound and form,and reasonably makes a rhyming masterpiece.
