译名中的乾坤——结合翻译理论浅谈德语人名汉译的技巧和准则

Universe in Names Translation——To Discuss the Skills and Principles of German Names Translation Based on Some Translation Theories

在中德交往日益密切的今天,两国的交流中不可避免地涉及德语姓名中译的问题。本文结合翻译理论,从"音译为主"、"名从主人"、"约定俗成"三个方面探索德语姓名中译的技巧和准则,并举例说明外语人名翻译的中国化现象。

Nowadays,the exchanges in policy,economy and cultur are closer and closer between China and Germany.There-fore,it becomes a natural phenomenon to translate German names into Chinese.Based on some translation theories,this paper is intended to discuss the way of translating German names into Chinese from three aspects-＂Transliteration as an important method＂,＂translating according to the nationality of the name owner＂ and ＂considering the conventional translation＂.Fur-thermore the Chinese style in the translation will also be discussed with examples.
