New Outperformance in the Forthcoming Five Years in Shandong

“十二五”期间，山东省提出要努力做到“一个提前，六个更加”，提前实现全面建成小康社会的奋斗目标，开启基本实现现代化建设新征程。2011年山东省人均生产总值已达7317美元，相当于中等收入国家（地区）水平。

According to the goal put forward by Shandong Province, in the forthcoming five years, Shandong＇s GPD will hit 7,000 billion yuan; the GPD per capita will exceed 10,000US dollars; the proportions of three industries will be constantly optimized; the added value of the strategic rising industries and the added value of the service industry will realize a twofold increase; the investment in R＆D will be increased to 2.5% of the GDP; the patent application and granting volume will increase by 15% every year; the proportion of hi-tech output value in the industrial aggregate will increase by 1% every year. The ocean economy will account for 23% of the total output value of the entire province. The urbanization rate will hit more than 56%.
