A study of changes in the mental health status of 106 patients with HIV/AIDS

目的调查分析106例HIV/AIDS患者1年内心理健康状况的变化情况。方法采用症状自评量表(SCL-90),分别对HIV/AIDS患者入组时和入组后12个月的心理健康状况进行调查,并按量表因子分进行比较分析。结果HIV/AIDS患者入组时和入组后12个月心理健康各项因子得分均显著高于全国常模(P均<0.01)。入组后12个月,HIV/AIDS患者躯体化、强迫症状和偏执3项因子明显改善。但敌对、恐怖和精神病性等因子加重。结论 HIV/AIDS患者存在心理问题。要全面提高和改善患者的心理健康水平,需进一步研究,同时针对性开展防治工作。

Objective This study examined changes in the mental health status of 106 patients with HIV/AIDS over a year. Methods SCL-90 was used to examine the mental health status of patients recently diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and patients 12 months after their diagnosis, and factor scores on the SCL 90 were comparatively analyzed. Results Patients recently diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and patients 12 months after their diagnosis had factor scores for mental health that were significantly higher than the national norm, and the differences were significant. Twelve months after their diagnosis, the 3 factors of somatization, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, and paranoia of patients with HIV/AIDS had markedly improved. However, the factors of hostility, fear, and psychoticism intensified. Conclusion Patients with HIV/AIDS have psychological problems. The mental health status of patients must be improved overall. Further study is needed, and focused prevention and control efforts must be undertaken.
