摘要
作为美国大学针对信息化发展而创造的体制创新措施之一,设立CIO职位是大学应对信息技术对大学所带来挑战与机遇的重要体制措施、改革措施。从分析CIO概念及发展脉络入手,理清美国大学CIO职位发展的历史沿革。通过大学CIO管理事务内容,分析IT部门的管理模式特征。
As one of the institutional innovation measures that created for the informationalized development, CIO position setting is an important structural reform measure just for facing challenges and opportunities brought by the information technology. This article starts with analyzing the concept and development of CIO, and then clarifies the historical evolution of CIO position in American University. Through the statement of universities＇ management affairs, it analyzes the characteristics of manage mode of IT department.
