Positive Preparation and Modest Opening-up——China's Travel Service on the Eve of the Country's Participation in WTO

我国加入世贸组织后 ,《服务贸易总协定》中相关原则和条款在我国的适用 ,将对我国旅行社业产生重大而深远的影响。基于我国旅行社业的总体竞争力较弱的现实 ,应采取渐进与稳妥的做法开放市场、充分发挥行业组织的作用。

After China's entry into the WTO, some principles and provisions of GATS will surely exert unfavorable influences on the operation of the country's tourism industry. Considering China's poor competitiveness in this sphere, it is suggested to take gradual steps in opening up tourism industry to the outside world, and to protect and improve the competitiveness of China's travel agencies through strong tourism organization.
