Magnetic prospecting is a kind of geophysical prospecting method for exploring the useful ores or determining the underground structures by using magnetic anomaly among different minerals.It is also the earliest geophysical prospecting way applied in the exploration of the ores,applied widely in the iron exploration and with effective result.Magnetic prospecting will play a greater role in the geological sciences as the equipment of magnetic exploration is renewed and the geological theories are becoming better and approaching perfect day after day.
