耕耘在英国文学的源头——记古英语文学翻译家陈才宇

陈才宇教授在古英语研究和古英语翻译领域取得了多项重要的学术成就，得到了国内诸多英语研究专家的称赞。翻译了《英美诗名篇选读》、《金色笔记》、《亚瑟王之死》、《失乐园》，完成了国家社科课题成果《古英语与中古英语文学通论》。独立校订了《朱译莎士比亚戏剧31种》，在纪念朱生豪诞辰一百周年时隆重推出。他为中国的英语语文研究做出了重要贡献。

Professor Chen has committed many achievements in the area of studying and translating ancient English, gaining praises from lots of domestic English expert. He has translated plenty of works, including The Selected Famous English Poems, The Golden Note, The Death of King Arthur, and Paradise Lost etc, completing the national social science subject ＂the general literary treatise of ancient and middle ages＇ English＂. He has also revisioned the 31 shakespeare plays translated by Shenghao Zhu independently, and launched it at the 100th anniversary of Shenghao Zhu＇s birth. He made a significant contribution to the English studies of china.
