摘要
将语言学理论引入外语教师专业培训是一种大胆的尝试。把经济原则、隐喻理论等引入外语教师专业培训,可以更新参加培训的教师对语音、语义、语篇层面的语言现象的认识,并使其掌握语言现象衍生与发展的内在规律,从而在较短的时间内大幅度提升他们的专业水平。
It is new but necessary to introduce linguistic theories into the training of EFL teachers'professional quali- ties. This paper focuses on how the principle of economy and the theory of metaphor improve professional qualities of EFL teachers. At the end of the paper a conclusion is drawn that the principle of economy and the theory of metaphor can change EFL teachers'previous view on various language phenomena at the phonetic, semantic and discourse level and fa- cilitate EFL teachers to know fundamental principles of the origin and derivation of various language phenomena so that the professional level of EFL teachers can be promoted greatly.
