2012年9月30日,180辆18m长的LNG公交车投放北京的1路、99路、52路公交线路,并驶上长安街。新车以LNG为燃料,既降低了能源消耗,也减少了尾气污染。宽敞的车厢、安静的乘车环境给乘客带来了舒适感,赢得不少市民赞誉。1路作为北京市开通时间较早且线路贯穿长安街的公交车,此次更换新车引起了许多人的关注,因此,《商用汽车》杂志记者对1路公交线路运行状况和新车使用情况进行了实地调查。
