Aura of Diaspora in Mu Xin's Literary Works

飞散(Diaspora)在全球化的当下具有文化跨民族性、文化翻译、文化旅行、文化混合等涵义及游牧式思想的现代哲学意味,是后结构、后现代、后殖民时代复杂表意过程中一个灵活的能指,具有"家园"与"飞散视角"这两个重要特征。美籍华人作家木心的作品具有突出的"飞散"特征,集中体现为他基于中西文化浸润的"世界家园"文化认同与自我飞散,以及木心基于飞散视角对这一"家园"中各种现代性问题的思辨与慈悲关怀。

Diaspora, as a dynamic signifier in the post-structural, post-modern and post-colonial age of globalization, holds connotations of cross-nationality, culture translation, cultural travel and culture integration with the philosophical meaning of nomadic thinking. Home and diasporic perspectives are two key aspects of the concept of Diaspora. The American Chinese writer Mu Xin displays in his works a predominant feature of diaspora, presenting a cross-cultural identity of ＂world as home＂ based on his diasporic exposure to and un- de＇rstanding of both the east and the west culture, expressing his diasporic-perspective critique on the moderni- ty problems in this ＂home＂ and his compassion for human being as a whole.
