沈研17号是干鲜两用型三系辣椒杂交种。其青果深绿色,老熟果颜色深红,果面光滑,果实羊角形,中早熟品种,始花节位9～10节,果纵径14.0～16.0cm,果横径1.8～2.2cm,平均单果质量19.2～22.1g,味辣,坐果率高,抗病性强;平均每667m2总产量3064.0kg,比韩国金塔(CK)增产11.3%,适合露地及覆膜栽培。

Shenyan 17 is a mid-early-mature 3-lined hot pepper hybrid grown for dry or fresh fruits. It grows the first flower at stem note 9 to 10, dark green young fruit and dark red ripe fruit with smooth skin, long-conical shaped, 14.0 - 16.0 cm in length, 1.8 -2.2 cm in diameter, 19.2 - 22.1 g per fruit, pungent in taste and high in frult-bearing rate. It is strongly resistant to diseases, it yields over 45.96 t per hm2, 11.3% higher than CK, and it is suitable for open-field or protected-field cultivations.
