Meta-synthesis for qualitative research in evidence-based nursing

阐述了Meta-整合的概念、哲学思想及基本方法,提出Meta-整合是对有着内在联系的不同质性研究结果进行整合,具有解释性,而非单纯的结果汇集。在理解各原始质性研究的哲学思想及其方法学的前提下,收集原始研究结果,然后按其含义进行归纳汇总,最后产生新的解释,形成更全面的诠释,反映各研究间的共同性和普及性,并成为循证实践的实证依据。

The aim of this paper was to introduce concept and philosophical thought of Meta-synthesis, and summarize basic me- thods for conducting Meta-synthesis. Based on the interpretive paradigm, Meta-synthesis attempts to integrate findings of a number of different but inter related qualitative studies. The technique is interpretive, rather than aggregating. Findings are collected with understanding of the philosophical foundation and methodology in each primary study, then the findings are summarized based on their meanings, and finally a new interpretation is generated. The results of meta-synthesis formulates more comprehensive inter- pretation which can reflect the commonality and generalization of studies, and can be used as evidences in evidence-based practice.
