黄宗忠：图苑的一面旗帜

黄宗忠教授是我国当代著名的图书馆学家和图书馆学教育家,以他的学术成就饮誉海内外。他潜心学术研究,用自己的心血浇灌着图苑里的老树新苗。他是图苑的一面旗帜。他担任武大图书馆学系、图书情报学院领导长达30余年,为图书馆学教育做出了不可磨灭的开拓性贡献。他心系中国图书馆事业,为它的发展竭尽辛劳。他的逝世是图书馆学界和中国图书馆事业的重大损失。

Prof.Huang Zongzhong is famous at home and abroad as an expert in the study of library and in the training of new librarians.For more than 30 years he was the chair of the department of library study and dean of the college of library and information in Wuhan University and the science of library study in China owes a lot to this man.
