中英文科学术论文摘要体裁分析及汉英翻译

Genre Analysis and Translation of Chinese and English Abstract of Research Papers on Liberal Arts

当前我国学术论文摘要英译,特别是文科论文摘要的英译大多拘泥于中文句式和篇章结构,不符合英语论文摘要的体裁规范,这在很大程度上影响了我国人文社科研究成果在国际上的有效传播。因此,从系统功能语言学的体裁结构潜势理论出发,对中英文科学术论文摘要的体裁结构和语言体现方式进行对比分析,提出学术论文摘要英译策略,为文科学术论文摘要翻译提供借鉴。

At present,most of the English translation of Chinese RA Abstracts,particularly in the field of liberal arts are not standard English Abstracts but Chinglish ones,with Chinese structures and expressions,which results from the translators＇ failure to make their target texts adapted to the generic convention of the target culture when translating Abstracts.Therefore,based on the theory of Generic Structure Potential（GSP）,this paper presents a generic comparison of English and Chinese RA Abstracts in terms of their generic structure and realization pattern and puts forward translation strategies,hoping to provide references to guide the practice of RA Abstract translation.
