Combating bookishness,by comrade Mao Ze-dong in May 1930,was a famous article about investigation problem to combat the mistaken thought of dogmatism prevailing in the Party,in which Mao Ze-dong pointed out the idea of combining theory and practice,combating bookishness,advocating focusing on practice,but not books or leaders,setting up the style of study of Marxism based on reality,research and practice.Therefore,Combating bookishness is not only a cognitive problem,but also a methodological problem.The thoughts of seeking truth from facts,independence and mass line implied in the article indicates the characteristics of Mao Ze-dong＇s philosophy thought,marking the initial formation of Mao Ze-dong＇s philosophy thought.
