Gender and Indian Nationalism——Analyzing the role of Bimala in The Home and the World

Around the discussion on the relationship among three major characters in the novel the Home and the World and from the men＇s attitudes about gender issues towards women, the essay has unfolded the interpretation about Indian nationalism which Tagore approved.
