摘要
本文围绕小说《家庭与世界》中三位主要人物关系的讨论,从男人对女人的态度这一性别问题切入,展开作者泰戈尔所认同的印度民族主义的解读。Sandip and Nikhil对Bimala的不同态度,即两位情敌对同一女性的态度,象征了印度民族主义的两种思想内涵。在Nikhil身上,泰戈尔寄托了自己的民族主义的理想。
Around the discussion on the relationship among three major characters in the novel the Home and the World and from the men's attitudes about gender issues towards women, the essay has unfolded the interpretation about Indian nationalism which Tagore approved. What the different manners that Sandip and Nikhil face Bimala, which means the attitude both rivals in love to a female, symbolizes two kinds of different idealistic connotation. Tagore entrusted his own nationalistic ideal on Nikhil .
