中日关系中四个政治文件的特色及其意义

A Study on Four Political Documents and Their Significance to China-Japan Relations

中日邦交正常化以来的四个政治文件各具特色,在中日关系发展的不同历史时期起到了举足轻重的作用。《中日联合声明》翻开了中日关系新的一页;《中日和平友好条约》奠定了中日关系的法律基础;《中日联合宣言》指明了新时期中日关系的发展方向;新《联合声明》对中日关系作了新的定位。今年恰逢中日两国实现邦交正常化40周年,40年来的历史证明,中日双方只有共同遵守四个政治文件的各项原则,中日关系才能健康发展。

Since the normalization of China-Japan diplomatic relations,four important political documents signed between the two states have showcased particular features,and played significant roles to China-Japan relations in different historical periods.The Joint Statement writes a new chapter for China-Japan relations;the Treaty of Peace and Friendship establishes a legal foundation for the relations between the two countries;the Joint Declaration clarifies the direction of China-Japan relations in the new period;and the Joint Statement of 2008 puts the China-Japan relations up to a new status.In 2012,the two countries will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between them.The 40 years of history turns out that only by adhering to the principles of the four political documents can China-Japan relations develop along the sound path.
