With the progress ot scaence and technology and the deepening of business, airport communication network continues to expand. The application of virtual local area network including switches is popular. This scheme can effectively solve the problem of access conflict and broadcast storm. This paper analyzes the partition method of virtual local area network, elaborates the applications of virtual local area network in airport communication. It details the use of three-layer switch to communicate among the hosts in different virtual networks.
