The Establishment of a Three-module Teaching System for the English Experimental Course

英语专业实验课程是英语专业实践教学环节的重要课程,该门课程目前尚处于建设阶段,无一定教学程式。在教学中应结合学生专业方向按照听说、写译和跨文化三个模块建设教学体系以及相应的测试环节,注意模块化教学的完整性和科学性,从而切实提高学生的口头和书面交流能力,为今后的学习和工作打下扎实的基础。

English experimental course is an important course of practice in the curriculum for English majors. This course is still in an exploratory stage and does not have a formula to follow. In teaching this course, the teacher is to take the given orientation of the major into consideration and establish a system of two aspects - teaching and testing and of three modules - listening ＆ speaking, writing ＆ translation, and cross-cultural communication. The system should be complete and scientific so as to effectively help improve the oral and written communication of students and lay a solid foundation for their study and work in the future.
