摘要
故事与话语是叙事学中的两个重要的范畴化概念,前者指作品内容,后者指内容的表达方式。本文旨在探讨叙事学视角下《红楼梦》中话语的英译,具体包括叙述视角和人物视角的英译、人物话语和思想呈现方式以及不可靠叙述的英译。在译文对比分析的基础上提出了《红楼梦》中话语翻译需要注意的几个问题,如视角处理的一致性,不可靠叙述再现的必要性以及对人物话语/思想呈现方式进行转换的合理性等。
Story, the content of a text, and discourse, the art of expressing the content, narrotology. This paper analyses the English translation of discourse in Hong Lou Meng from are two important categorized concepts in the perspective of narratology, including the translation of narrator and character＇ s point of view, speech and thought presentation, as well as unreliable narration. Based on comparative analyses, some suggestions concerning the translation of discourse in Hong Lou Meng are provided, such as consistency in dealing with narrator＇ s point of view, necessity in reproducing unreliable narration and rationality in transforming speech or presentation etc.
