This paper is an analysis of Mrs. Dalloway from the view of "Being-unto-Death". It analyzes the realization of death from the view of Woolf and delivers the unique insight of life and death. That is, essentially, life is meaningful because of the existence of death. Understanding "life" from the view of death, we can realize the valuable and the transient of life. Death is the destination of life; life is the process of death. Only when we understand death profoundly, can we live a meaningful and wonderful life.
