Burke's View on the Philosophy of Language inDramatism and Terministic Screens

戏剧主义和术语视屏体现了博克关于修辞与哲学、修辞与知识、人类与现实、语言与现实、语言符号与非语言符号等问题的深入思考,是博克的语言哲学观的主要内容。与其他语言哲学观相比,博克的语言哲学思想突出表现在语言的戏剧性、伦理性、动机性和修辞性等方面。开展博克研究对于我国的外语教学与研究、汉语修辞学研究以及我国公共话语和社会关系研究等具有重要的理论与实践意义。

Burke＇ s view on language of philosophy is mainly expressed in his dramatism and terministic screens, which in- dieate Burke＇ s philosophical understanding of the relationship between man and reality, language and reality, verbal and nonverbal symbols, rhetoric and philosophy, and rhetoric and knowledge. Burke＇ s original philosophy of language is typi- cally seen in his perception of dramatism, ethnicity, motivation and rhetoricity of language. Studies of Burke are of great significance to the FLT practice and research, to the disciplinary construction of Chinese rhetoric, and to studies of public discourse and social relations in China.
