全真教是宋金之际建立的新型宗教,蒙元朝时期受到政府的高度支持,一度达到了鼎盛。随着明王朝的建立,全真教由于种种原因逐渐衰落,出现了沉寂状态。明末清初,全真教龙门派出现了一位极具影响力的高道——王常月,在其领导下对全真教进行了改革,使全真教一度出现了"中兴"局面。这与满清王朝的大力支持有着密不可分的关系。

Quanzhen Taoism was a new type of religion which was established in Song and Jin period.It was highly supported by the government in Mongolian Yuan period,and once reached a peak.With the establishment of the Ming dynasty,Quanzhen Taoism gradually declined due to various reasons,there was a quiet state.The late Ming and early Qing period,Quanzhen Taoism Longmen faction had a very influential figure-Wang Changyue.Under his leadership,he reformed the Quanzhen Taoism.Hence,Quanzhen Taoism appeared resurgence situation.This had a close relationship with the strong support from the Manchu dynasty.
