摘要
夏目漱石的小说《哥儿》从上世纪30年代开始,在不同时期多次被译为中文,甚至于在同一时期也有不同的译本,这给翻译研究提供了十分有利的条件。在文学翻译理论方面,许多翻译理论家都不约而同地承认文学翻译需要译者的艺术再创造性。通过《哥儿》三种译本的词汇翻译研究,可以看到三位译者在翻译人物称谓语、拟声词、文化符号等具有代表性的词汇时,都作出了不同的选择,这正体现了文学翻译的艺术再创造性。
The novel Botchan written by Natsumesouseki has been translated into Chinese many times at different ages since 1930s.Even at the same age,there are different translated versions.This brings great convenience to the translation research.Many translation theorists admit that translation needs translator's artistic creativity which is proved by the research on different translated versions of Botchan.The three translators made different choices when they were translating appellations,onomatopoeias and cultural symbols.
