Replacement of First and Second-person Pronouns and its Translation in Japanese Conversations

日语第一、二人称代词的日常使用习惯反映了其使用规律以及日本区别于其它民族的文化特色。日语会话中人称代词的替换也极具日本文化特色。通过例句对日语会话中第一、二人称的替换现象及其翻译技巧进行了分析,认为在翻译过程中,应考虑到跨文化交际,以做到翻译的准确与恰当。

The daily usage of the first and second-person pronouns reflects their characteristics and the cul- tural characteristics of the Japanese nation. The replacement of personal pronouns in Japanese conversation also has Japanese cultural characteristic. Such a phenomenon and its translation skills are analyzed in this paper with concrete examples. In order to achieve accurate translation, cross-cultural communication should be considered in the process of translation.
