Tengxian dialect, or Tangxian Baihua, is a sub-dialect of Cantonese, belonging to the Goulou linguistic division. This paper intensively and thoroughly analyzes the forms and functions of interrogative pronouns in Tengxian dialect, puts forward some different arguments on Yu Aiqin＂ s ＂ Loaned Word Principle＂ and makes a synchronic comparison between Tengxian dialect and other Cantonese dialects and standard Chinese.
