With the development of social economy, the human consciousness of environment protection is enhancing. At the same time, more and more attentions are paid to the protection of the ecological environment, and the demand of environmental protection industry grows day by day. So the development of environmental protection industry will have great potential and broad market. Based on the development of the world economy and combining with the present situation of China, this article elaborates the development of environmental protection industry in China and world, which includes the survey of related environmental protection manufacturing enterprises. Through analyzing the development of environmental protection industry in China, some conclusions are made in order to provide reference for environmental protection industry to make development strategy.
