忧患意识与幽暗意识,两个看似相像的概念,在本质上有很大的区别。二者对人性的认识以及对民主政治的诉求均不相同。忧患意识主张人性本善,进而追求高调的民主;幽暗意识认为人性中有极幽暗的一面,需要时刻警惕,故而倡导低调的民主。结合我国宪政民主发展的状况来看,培育幽暗意识,警惕人性之幽暗,加强制度建设,积极开展宪政实践,对于转型中国的宪政建设更有意义。

The concepts of awareness of potential huge difference in essence. They are different cratic politics. The awareness of potential dangers dangers and dim consciousness look quite alike, but they have the understanding of human nature and the pursuit of the demoadvocates that human nature is good, and appeals for radical democracy. The dim consciousness considers that there is a dark side of human nature, which needs to be kept under close watch, so it advocates to rational democracy. Seen from the development of constitutionalism in China, it is very important to the construction of the democratic politics in transformational China to cultivate dim consciousness, keeping a watchful eye on the dark side of the human nature and to strengthen the construction of the institution and the constitutional practice.
