体裁分析视角下社科论文英文摘要对比研究——以民族学、人口学、人类学为例

A Comparative Study of English Abstracts of Social Science Papers from the Genre Analysis Perspective—Taking Ethnology,Demography and Anthropology Papers as Examples

通过对90篇民族学、人口学和人类学学术论文摘要的考察,探寻学术论文摘要的普遍规律在这3个学科学术论文中的具体表现形式。研究显示,这3个学科论文摘要的语篇模式大部分都偏离了传统的IMRD模式,呈现多样化的特点,在情态动词、语态、人称代词的使用等方面存在共性。同时,研究表明论文摘要具有学科差异性,与人口学相比,民族学和人类学学术论文摘要之间存在更大的相似性。

Based on a comparative study of 90 abstracts of Papers On Ethnology, Demography and Anthropology, this paper investigates how the general rules of research paper abstracts work in these disciplines. The study indicates that discourse mode of most abstracts deviates from the traditional IMRD mode, showing a variety of characteristics. But they have in common in the use of modal verbs, voice and personal pronouns. This study also reflects that abstracts of Ethnology papers have more similarity to abstracts of Anthropology papers than those of Demography papers.
