摘要
法律术语翻译在法律文本的翻译中至关重要,也是法律翻译中的难点。法律术语的翻译除了要求语词之间在语义上要基本对应外,还要力求做到译出的法律术语与原文本的法律术语在法律功能上基本对等。而英汉法律术语具有其自身的特点和词源特征,针对翻译中遇到的具体情形应采用不同的翻译方法。
As for translation of legal documents,the core is the translation of legal terms,which is also one of the difficulties encountered by legal translators.The translated legal terms should be approximately equivalent to the original ones from the perspectives of meaning and legal function.Because of the characteristics and etymology of English and Chinese legal terms,different strategies shall be adopted.
