构造电信网可靠性水平的HFC模拟通信平台

摘要 在有线电视HFC网上运营数据、语言及视频多种业务已经从过去的热门话题,变成世界有线电视行业的大规模行动了。本文报道了美国一个对HFC网络可靠性的实际研究结果,并分析了影响网络中断时间的诸多因素,如:光节点规模、同轴缆质量、电力系统特性、光传输系统、以及用户端电缆断路。最后,基于单位光节点服务500个用户的模型,提出各种改善可靠性的实际措施和可达到和超过电信网络万分之一的可靠性的HFC模拟通信平台的构造方式。同时建议可靠性相对差一些,但造价适中,支持数据及高速Internet业务的HFC模拟通信平台构造形式。 Rolling out consolidated voice, date and video services over HFC networks has been not only a hot topic, but also a worldwide massive practices of the cable operators in order to have a foothold in the communication industry. This paper reports a field study of availability of HFC network in the states done by a cable gear company. The detailed analysis of factors such as node size, powering system, coax plant, fiber systems as well as the drops of customer cables, that contribute the outage tune of the network, has presented in details. Measures of building a HFC network that can achieve the telecommunication reliability standards have been suggested.
