摘要
以苯乙烯和丙烯酸丁酯为主单体,合成纤维交联型阳离子乳液,讨论了乳化剂、引发剂等因素对乳液性能的影响,用红外、差示扫描量热分析对乳液结构进行了表征;将合成的乳液配制成施胶剂对纸张进行表面施胶,测试了纸张表面物理性能。结果表明,最佳乳液的合成条件为:以偶氮二异丁腈(AIBN)为引发剂(AIBN的质量分数为0.476%),乳化剂的质量分数为8.5%,聚合单体丙烯酸丁酯与苯乙烯质量比为16.5:19.5;合成的乳液粒径最小为41.74 nm,玻璃化温度为34.69℃,以此乳液配制的施胶剂施胶后,纸张的表面吸水量(Cobb)值最小,为58.25 g/m2。
Fiber/cross-linked cationic emulsion was synthesized by using butyl acrylate(BA) and styrene as major monomers and used in the paper sizing. The emulsifier and initiator effects on the properties of the emulsion latex were discussed. The structure of emulsion latex was characterized by FT-IR and DSC. The physical properties of the paper sized with enmlsion latex were also analyzed. The results indicate that the optimum emulsion was obtained as follows: The initiator is 0. 476% 2,2-azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN), the content of emulsifier is 8.5 %, the mass ratio of monomer styrene and butyl acrylate is 19.5:16.5. It is found that the smallest diameters of polymer particles are 41.74 nm and glass transition temperature is 34.69 ℃. The minimum Cobb value 58.25 g/m2 of paper sized with the optimum emulsion is obtained,
