对2008年—2010年全国和地区高校图书馆资源购置费、馆舍面积、职工人数等方面投入进行研究,揭示了图书馆数量和项目数量的构成比例、重点与非重点院校、东部与中西部地区院校、经济发达与欠发达地区院校在图书馆各类投入方面存在的较大差异,以便投入较弱高校决策者在图书馆基本投入方面做到心中有数,不断满足师生教学科研的阅读需求。
