Five-phase Theory about the Development of National History:Divisions of Modern History and the Five-phase Theory

文章介绍了我国近现代历史分期的学术热点,提出了关于国内外近现代分期的新观点。作为对近现代历史分期理论的重要扩展,重点提出了近现代以来整个历史发展阶段的划分标准,并在国内首次提出了民族成熟度的概念及基于民族成熟度的民族历史发展阶段的"五段论"理论。该理论具有"完整性"与"统一性"的特点,丰富了民族历史的研究方法,具有重要的学术价值与现实意义。

This paper introduces some academic hotspots about the division of modern history at first and then puts forwards some new viewpoints about it. As an important extending of the history＇s division theory, this paper presents a set of new standards about the division of the historical development since modem times, the maturity levels of nations and the theory of five-phase theory. This theory combines the characters of ＂inte- grality＂ and ＂unity＂, which will not only enrich the study methods of the national history, but also has impor- tant academic value and practical significance.
