高职英语教学旨在培养学生听、说、读、写、译综合能力,而词汇学习是英语的基础与堡垒。在高职英语教学中,教师要重视词汇教学,注意词汇教学的趣味性和多样化。要不断改进教学方法,激发学生的学习兴趣和积极性,更新教学观念,注意培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象和创造能力,培养学生独立解析、扩展词汇的能力,从而达到提高高职英语词汇教学的效果。

Higher vocational English teaching aims to train the students listening, speaking, reading, writing, translating, and vocabulary learning is the foundation and fortress of English. In English teaching, teachers should attach importance to vocabulary teaching, pay attention to interest and diversity in vocabulary teaching. It is required that we improve teaching methods continuously, and stimulate students＂ learning interest and enthusiasm, renew teaching ideas, cultivate students observation,memory, thinking,imagination and creativity and cultivate students independent analysis ,expansion of vocabulary, in order to improve the effect of English vocabulary teaching in higher vocational college.
