Eaves files in the Qin and Han Dynasties with a unique artistic value represent the peak of ancient Chi- nese art of eaves tile at its development stage. As a kind of imitation art, their pattems come from various re- sources, some from the nature itself, some from the religious beliefs, others from social psychology. Till today, this art can still arouse the feeling of beauty owing to the coincidence of its exterior beauty in form and people＇s aesthetic taste. It has a unique artistic charm, but its charm is bound to fade away as time goes by.
