商务英语词汇隐喻使用及映射机制

The Metaphor Use of Business English Lexis and the Analysis of the Mapping Mechanism

商务英语词汇的解读需要依赖不同的商务情景,不能通过简单的字面意思进行猜测。本文拟从认知语言学角度,从不同情景和不同机制对商务英语词汇的隐喻进行分析。通过归纳隐喻的映射机制,来更好地理解和应用隐喻,以期提高学生商务英语词汇学习的趣味性,增加商务英语词汇的储存量。

Business English lexis needs to be interpreted depending on different business circumstance, rather than be guessed from the surface meaning simply. From the Cognitive Linguistics, this paper intends to analyze the metaphor of business English lexis in different context and different mechanism. Using the mapping mechanism of metaphor, we can have a better understanding and have a better application of metaphor, thus students＇ learning interestingness on business English lexis would be improved and students＇ business English vocabulary would be greatly enlarged.
