This paper, based on the framework of Interpersonal function in Halliday＇s functional grammar, analyzes the inter- personal meaning of Hillary Clinton＇s endorsement speech from the aspects of mood, modality, personal pronouns and tenses system, aiming at illustrating the relationship between the selection of language system and the realization of interpersonal meaning, as well as revealing the variety of language means for interpersonal meaning in political speech.
