摘要
语言运用的最基本形式——会话——是一种实时行为。说话人随想随说,听话人随听随想,共同建构会话,典型地展示了语言运用的动态特性。本文通过电视访谈节目、电视剧等各种语言运用实例说明会话是动态的,其结果是测不准的。在这个意义上,研究语言运用的语用学也是动态的,动态语用学将成为下一阶段的一个研究重点。
Conversation, the most basic form of language in use, is an on line activity. The speaker speaks his thoughts on the spot and the hearer begins to interpret as soon as he hears the first sound, a process which typically shows the dynamic nature of language in use. On the basis of various TV interviews and TV plays, the author demonstrates that conversation is dynamic, and it is impossible to predict its results precisely. In this sense, pragrnatics, the study of language in use, is dynamic, and dynamic pragmatics will surely be one of the most important developments in the future.
