北京市环保产业发展的战略选择

Strategy Alternativcs of Beijing's EnvironmentalProtection Industry

本文运用统计数据 ,对北京市环保产业发展的现状及存在的问题进行了探讨。作者认为 ,北京作为首都 ,环保市场潜力巨大 ,环保产业也必将成为21世纪北京的“朝阳产业”。虽然近年来北京环保产业有一定发展 ,但仍存在问题。借鉴日本、美国环保产业发展的成功经验 ,北京市必须尽早作出适合本地特点的战略选择———强制性的环保市场培育手段和必要的政策支持。

This paper, using statistical data, discusses the current status and existing problems of Beijing’s environmental protection industry. As the capital, Beijing is a big potential market of environmental protection and its environmental protection industry has a great potential to become a “Sunshine industry”. While progress has been made in Beijing’s environmental protection industry, distinct pitfalls remain. Beijing must draw on the successful experience of the United States and Japan in developing environmental protection industry, and make its strategic choice suited to the specific conditons of Beijing as soon as possible--to resort to compulsory means in cultivating environmental protection market and to provide necessary policy support.
