南宁市城市总体规划在过去十年中有效地指导了城市建设,在建设"富裕南宁、文化南宁、生态南宁、平安南宁"的城市发展战略中发挥了较大作用。面对内外环境和发展条件变化所带来的各种新情况、新问题,南宁市坚持以城市总体规划和"中国绿城"建设规划为总领的规划框架和体系,注重产业综合发展、全域南宁规划、文化建设、邕江综合开发、城市经营与城市品牌、绿色交通与公交优先以及拓展城市新的增长极,谋划城市的可持续发展与建设,寻求推动城市成功转型的新路径、新模式。南宁市将按照城市总体规划的战略部署,开展下一阶段的城市建设工作。

Urban system in northeast China has typical developing characters under exterior influences. It has urban agglomeration belt characters including unbalanced scale hierarchy, fast urbanization with low qualities etc. The spatial layout can be improved from following aspects： integrating urban system spatial and gradient distribution; promoting urban system network structure formation; increasing big and medium cities leading function, exerting urban agglomeration growth pole effects, increasing urbanization quality, organizing urban transformation and revitalization, and increasing local government cooperation.
