It is the preliminary conclusion to eliminate inquisition by torture by both disciplining and punish- ment for public security organs after systematically analyzing the internal documents about curbing extortion of con- fession by torture of the Ministry of Public Security. Disciplining and punishment is the only way for public security organs to eliminate inquisition by torture. The public security organs have a long way to go to curb extortion of con- fession by torture. What and how the public security organs have done relates to the final realization of the goal of curbing extortion of confession by torture.
