经过多年的办刊实践,公安学术期刊尽管有了较大的发展,但也失去了自己应有的特色。实现由综合性学术期刊向专业性学术期刊的转型是公安学术期刊界面临的一个重要选择。公安院校由专科向本科升级,给公安学术期刊的转型提供了机遇,但转型也面临极大的风险。因此,转型过程中必须坚持四个原则:1.坚守公安学术期刊的学术性。2.坚定由综合性学术期刊向专业性学术期刊转变的决心。3.通过转型彰显公安学术期刊的个性。4.凸显公安学术期刊的地域特色。

After years of practice, public security learned journals have developed rapidly, but their due char- acteristics have been lost. An important choice lies ahead of the circles of public security learned journals that is to realize the transformation from comprehensive learned journals to specialized ones. Most of the public security acad- emies have been upgraded to colleges; this is an opportunity for transformation of the journals. But we are faced with great risk now. So we should adhere to the four basic principles： 1. Adhere to the academic character of the journals. 2. Strengthen our resolve to the journals＇ transformation. 3. Show the characteristics of the journals. 4. Express the regional character of the journals.
