Impact of Medical Service Fee on the Economic Operation of a Tertiary Hospital

目的了解北京市试点的医事服务费对某医院的经济运行情况的影响程度及影响因素。方法以某医院2011年的卫生服务量为基础,按照北京市试点的医事服务费标准,测算某医院2011年的医事服务费收入。结果门诊收入增加,而住院的收入减少,总收入也减少了。结论医院自身应进一步强化成本管理,控制药品费用;政府要加强财政补助,努力提高公立医院的公益性;卫生部门还应加强对医院其他费用的监管,全面控制医疗费用。

Objective To understand the extent and impact of the Beijing pilot medical service charge of economic operation of a hospital. Methods Based on the amount of health services to a hospital in 2011 and medical service fee standards, Beijing pilot is estimated in 2011 through medical service fees ina hospital. Results Out-patient medical service fee revenue is higher, and hospital medical service fee income is less than the original revenue. A hospital＇s total medical fee income is less than the original income. Conclusion The hospital itself should further enhance cost manage- ment and control drug costs to strengthen its financial assistance. Government should make efforts to improve public hospitals＇ public welfare. And health institutions should strengthen the supervision of the other costs of the hospital and take a comprehensive control to medical costs.
