摘要
以UBC和UMASS的人文课程为例,北美综合性大学的人文课程具有以下特点:目标上,以提升学生的综合素质为出发点,注重学生的批判性思维能力、语言能力和多元文化价值观的培养;设置上,注重内容的丰富性和现实性,注重不同课程间的层次性和逻辑性;实施中,坚持学生选择与学校引领相结合的原则,注重学习方式的灵活性与多样性。
Compared to other ordinary universi ties, comprehensive universities in North America have longer history and more international influence, therefore, pay more attention to the students' overall development and the social function of education. By analyzing humanity curricula in the comprehensive universities in North America, the paper finds some common characteristics in the aims, contents, and the ways of implementation of humanity curricula, which might also give some inspiration to Chinese higher education reform.
